Executive Management
Vila: Established and operated a professional consulting business. Initiated and developed a client base ranging from clinical settings, service industries, product industries, high technical industries and many non for profits. Performing high level professional business consulting ranging from the organization, business strategies, marketing and employee development plans. SBSC: Created a small business resource center to assist small business owners an entrepreneurs by offering a training & development, resource library, referral partnerships, business coaching and coaching series for start up businesses. Established and supervised five community committees including the Advisory Board, Women’s Business Owners, Training & Development, Mentoring, and Strategic Referral Partnerships. Real Estate: Initiated, organized and directed Marketing strategies for two new construction projects in Utah. Conducted Presales and Grand Openings, including Realtor Days. For the successful completion of 53 homes in under 6 months. Surpassing the established goals for the market. Devised marketing strategies for sellers based on the uniqueness of their property and successfully negotiating on their behalf. Assisted buyer and sellers with the successful closure rate of 98% of all sales closed. Rated Top New Agent for 1990 & 1991. Project Management
Vila: Based on forecasted project requirements within the resource management and cost effectiveness, streamlining the business with office flow, organizational management and results based leadership. Investigating the current business practices by interviewing clients and their employees; identifying critical areas that are not aligned with the business primmer or business strategy; establish result based indicators for quality assurance and develop a integrated gap analysis; accurately diagnosing critical areas, develop strategic processes, procedures, and execute those initiatives and develop training plans designed to align with the new business strategies with defined goals in a stepped processes.
Hewlett Packard: Project Manager for the delivery, productivity, and maintenance of the IT server environment according to the service agreements. Ensures the delivery costs are within or better than the budgeted costs. Act and be recognized by the customer as a single point of contract for tactical operational issues. Directed server delivery activities and teams, once delivery of the IT servers are completed, maintain the service to those servers in a proactive manner. Act as the escalation manager leading the team through troubleshooting the problems or incidents with the servers, according to the incident management regulations. Ensures customer satisfaction through the efficient and effective delivery of IT server contracted services to the customer.
Tacit: Outlined and negotiated scope of work with the client/customer for the deployment of telecommunications networks. Reviewed with the engineers the technical design of the footprint lay out and network circles, creating a project plan with milestones and timelines that meet the project’s scope of work. Meet with managers for weekly reviews alignment and on and off course discoveries. Identify potential critical areas and implement strategy for problem solving. Meet with manager, client and customers weekly/monthly to ensure clear communications. Obtain lease agreements, zoning permits and construction walk through in a timely manner to ensure the project objectives were met. Negotiate will all applicable contracts, including customer, client, landlord, owners and city/county. Daily mediation of issues both customers related and team oriented. Submit projections and deliverables to management and clients. Exit or transition reviews, handoff and team work load balancing. Orchestrated and participated in corporate meetings as deemed necessary.
WBC: Consulted with the Advisory Board and WBC’s Board and made recommendations for the restructuring of the Women’s Business Center. Successfully implemented “Get Well Plan” complete with timelines and action items in alignment with the PMI standards, to reorganize the center. Took the WBC’s performance evaluation from critical standings with the Small Business Administrations; Grant Administration into compliance by developing a healthy five year plan. Performed extensive employee reviews, office structure observation and reorganized the business side of the center focusing on the administration of the grant requirements by creating healthy measurements for the next phase of grant requirements.
Training Development & Facilitation
Vila: Developed 114 unique training workshops from change management, leadership, team building and technical trainings specific to the needs assessed during the initial investigation. Then creating a post analysis/post reviews to indicate the level of success of those trainings. Keeping in mind that change is a process not an event, and alignment trainings are often needed; coaching strong willed individuals into compliance, using both mediation and a variety of development plans of self measurement and accountably initiatives.
Experienced in both live and tele-a-course workshops and training, knowledge of adult training, learning theory, and interactive workshops. Experience in training from 2 to 200 participants, teaching a wide variety of training including; Leadership, Change Management, Crisis Management, Personality, Results Based Leadership, Personal Accountability, Policy & Procedure Implementation, Quality Assurance, Negations, Visionary Workshops, Balance, Team Building, Getting Results and Strategic Planning.
SBSC: Recruited and managed the training and development program, interviewing potential speakers, management of the training series, introduced speakers, evaluated speakers and managed participants. Developed new business coaching series for entrepreneurs successfully training over 300 potential business owners how own and operate a business through business planning.
Hewlett Packard: Created the concept, proposal and successfully launched the training program, for other project managers. Received a “top ten award” and was recognized by both the customer and peers, in addition to leading the successful completion of the account alignment program, matching the team members to the customers; allowing the business to direct the priority of each business strategy rather than by customer request. Project lead for the initiation and investigation of new and existing project management tools by aligning to the needs of both customer and team.
